Qualified in 1998. Her initial training was in Poland, subsequently in Manchester, Blackburn and Lancaster.

Special Interest in Family Planning and Gynaecology including Long Acting Reversible Contraception (e.g. coils) and Menopause advice.

Qualified as a BMS Menopause Specialist and Trainer

Able to carry out Minor Surgery and Joint Injections

The Dardsley building is owned by the Lostock Hall Medical Properties partnership - the registered partners are Dr Ewa Craven, Dr Praful Methukunta and David Pearson

Dr Ewa Craven is the Lead GP. 

Dr Muhammad Rasool, Dr Linda Fan, Dr Louise Sears and Dr Zainab Khan work regularly at the practice.

Dr Sears supports Dr Craven in providing a women's health service. Dr Fan has a special interest in dermatology.

The practice at times employs other Locum GPs to cover holidays and training periods

Vicky joined the practice at the beginning of 2020. She is a highly qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner that leads on acute care and care management for our care home patients.

Vicky is also a specialist respiratory nurse

Nurse Practitioners are highly trained staff able to prescribe, diagnose and refer. They are an essential complement to GPs. Patients presenting with a new problem are often first seen by the Nurse Practitioner who is able to resolve many issues or seek advice from a GP, specialist nurse or consultant.

Our Advanced Nurse Practitioner provide most of the on the day appointments, treating and prescribing for acute conditions.

Phil is an Advanced Physiotherapist providing a musculo-skeletal assessment service

HCAs support the nursing team by carrying out a range of important routine tasks such as taking blood pressure, blood samples and ECGs. Through training programmes HCAs can also carry out life-style checks and basic chronic disease reviews.

David joined the practice is 2016. He has led on the project to relocate the practice to its new Dardsley home (of which he is a joint owner) and to develop the site as a community wellbeing centre. David has also led on the DoctorDoctor community heritage project.

He was previously Deputy Director of the National Football Museum in Manchester.

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Denise is Lead Administrator

The Administration Team processes and actions referrals and patient letters from other clinics, they ensure proper medical coding and appropriate medications are entered on patient records and ensure the practice office runs smoothly. 

Janet is Deputy Practice Manager, Senior Receptionist and Team Leader

Anita is a Senior Receptionist and Team Leader

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions, informing patients of test results, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Pharmacy Technician

Our small pharmacist team helps manage and precribe patient medications and undertakes medication reviews

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
